CURRENT TROPICAL CYCLONES:
Tropical Storm Don…is located about 395 miles east of Cape Race, Newfoundland

DON EXPECTED TO BECOME A POST-TROPICAL CYCLONE SOON
According to the NHC advisory number 40…
Don is moving toward the northeast near 20 mph (31 km/h). A turn to the east-northeast and then the east are expected later today and tonight.
Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 50 mph (85 km/h) with higher gusts. Continued weakening is forecast, and Don is expected to become a post-tropical cyclone later today.
Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 80 miles (130 km) from the center.
Central Tropical Atlantic:
Invest 95L
An area of low pressure associated with a tropical wave continues to produce disorganized showers and thunderstorms about 700 miles east of the Windward Islands.
Some slow development of this system is
possible during the next couple of days while it moves westward across the tropical Atlantic and eastern Caribbean Sea.
Environmental conditions are expected to become less conducive for development by the middle of the week. Interests in the Lesser Antilles should monitor the progress of this system.
